The Institute of Stories is a bi-monthly event that brings together stories from established writers around a central theme, read aloud and shared.
Inspired by Porthleven’s Bickford-Smith Science and Literary Institute, and founder Suzie Inman’s love of words and reading, the event usually takes place in venues around Porthleven, but now it’s coming to Apollo 50.
For Apollo 50 the team will be curating and reading a host of sci-fi and space stories from writers including H.G. Wells, Philip K. Dick, Margaret Atwood, and Douglas Adams. There’ll also be a musical interlude from the group’s resident musician Rosie Crowe.
Pop along and travel to far away lands without leaving Goonhilly…
